How a requirement becomes a contract

Every inquiry enters the same technical qualification sequence, regardless of counterparty size. The first stage captures the operating profile: intended use, required constituent specification, average and maximum draw, peak-hour behaviour, cadence, receiving configuration, site access, and target start date. Without those inputs there is no basis for a defensible quote, and Aquifer Waterworks will not issue pricing against an incomplete profile.

The second stage is capacity and feasibility review. This is where the enterprise assesses whether the stated requirement can be served from within the approved operating region under the applicable permit conditions, and by what delivery path — interconnection, loading, or hauled delivery. Feasibility here is a genuine gate, not a formality. Requirements that cannot be responsibly served are declined at this stage rather than accepted and managed down later.

The third stage is specification and contracting. Analytical results are reported against the buyer’s stated specification and are valid as of sampling; ongoing testing cadence is set in the agreement rather than assumed. Term structure — spot, recurring, standing, or reserved standby — is selected to match the buyer’s risk posture, and reserved capacity carries its own commercial terms distinct from consumed volume.
